Description

We are pleased to present the AI Winter School 2024 at Paderborn University. This Winter School is a collaboration of the SAIL Research Network and the Doctoral Networks LEMUR and KnowGraphs. At this Winter School we will offer exciting lectures in the field of Machine Learning as well as helpful hands-on disciplinary and complementary trainings. The whole event will be accompanied by a poster session and a social program, which will provide opportunities for networking and professional exchange.

Status Updates AI Winter School: 

19th September 2023: The preliminary program of the AI Winter School is now published and can be viewed under "Timetable".
 

05th September 2023: Registration is now open! Register for the AI Winter School until 15th October 2023. The program is still being worked on and will be made available ASAP on this page. More information including how to participate in the poster session will follow soon.

Arrival to Venue

The AI Winter School will take place in the L-Building of Paderborn University. This is located at the intersection of the streets "Südring" and "Pohlweg." A free parking lot of the university is located directly on the opposite side at the Pohlweg (entrance to the parking lot from "Mersinweg"). By public transport, the best way to reach the university from the main train station is to take bus lines 4 or 9 to the bus stop "Uni/Südring" (journey time about 15 minutes).

      The AI Winter School Dinner will take place from 18:30 in the Schützenhof Paderborn. There is the possibility to use a shared shuttle bus from the university.       This training is about all questions around the scientific career. Barbara Hammer, Eyke Hüllermeier, Gabriella Pasi and Monowar Bhuyan talk about their path to science and discuss with you what is important when embarking on this career. In an "Ask me Anything" session you'll have the opportunity to ask anything you've always wanted to know about working in science.
