The conference theme invites us to think about the need to encode different cultural realms — not only written musical and literary cultures, but also oral cultures, the cultures of underrepresented communities, and even cultural practices beyond language and music, such as dance, theater, and film. In coming together to identify and discuss the commonalities and differences between our two coding communities, we aim to discover new methods and new approaches to encoding culture in all its forms.
Fees
- Regular Conference Fee: 100 EUR
- Reduced Conference Fee: 60 EUR
- Online Attendance: 30 EUR
For local participants, there are two different prices. If you will be refunded for your registrations costs, we ask you to select the regular conference fee, even if you are a student. If, instead, you are an independent scholar and not refunded by an employer, feel free to select the reduced conference fee, even if you're graduated already. Similarly, if you're joining us from a country or context where the regular conference fee is considered prohibitive, you may choose the reduced fee.
